Hi Joyce! I love the idea of reaching for the stars, and I never have...any tips?

Joyce Chapman said...

Sure! Start off by allowing yourself to make a long list of everything you can possibly imagine... you can be,do and have. After you have made that list, write and tell me what you are discovering.

Recently someone asked me about creating a dreamboard. I was excited to respond by sending him the section titled "Put Your Dream Into Pictures" of Chapter 2 of my Live Your Dream book. If you would like those guidelines just write and I'll send you a sample!

Would it help me to buy your book?

Joyce Chapman said...

Yes! I am often asked questions like, "Where and how do I start to live MY dream?" With a smile on my face I say, "Buy my Live your dream book and workbook and begin reading and writing in the workbook.

Joyce, I am thinking about joining the dream circle and a friend of mine told me you have some examples of what people say. Can you send me a few ideas? Thanks

Hi! Here are some dream statements taken right from Chapter One of Live Your Dream.

My dream is to write a highly successful book and become financially independent.

My dream is to become a spiritual healer.

My dream is to let go of the past and be open to new growth.

My dream is to assist people in relieving pain and maximizing their potential through the impact of my documentary films.

My dream for now is to be the world’s most wonderful parent and raise my children to be beautiful, loving people.

My dream is to travel all over the world as an actor, making people laugh.

I'll look forward to yours!

I would like to have a dream to pursue but can't seem to put my finger on what I would like to do as my life's work. There are many things I think would be nteresting but I can't decide. Any suggestions?

Hi Michele, Here a few questions to help you to narrow down what your smallest and biggest dreams are. (Write down the questions and give yourself permission to be as outrageous as you can be!)
1.What do I love doing?
2.What would I like to leave behind as my legacy?
3.If someone walked up to me today and asked, "What is your life purpose?" What is my first response?
4.If I knew I could fulfill my destiny would I follow my hopes, wishes and dreams?
5.What am I declaring and committing to having, doing and being in 2009?

In the introduction of your book Celebrate Your Dream you challenge your readers to “…step even more fully into your own personal power…” My question is can I e-mail you and tell you my experiences as I embrace your challenge?

Joyce Chapman said...

Yes! What a great habit to activate taking action steps and telling the world you are daring to realize your dreams and celebrate stepping into you power.
Also join in by sharing your Dream by adding a statement to the Dream Circle.

I have never considered myself to be a creative person. Can a person be creative and not know it?

Joyce Chapman said...

Certainly! Just for fun starting saying an affirmative statements to yourself like: I am a very creative person. I fully embrace my creative self. I love solving my problems creatively. I awaken the creative genius that has been asleep within me. And...another great way to reactivate your creative self, is catch yourself being creative and write about those times.

I love your idea of living in the state of Oh! When did you think "that" up?

Joyce Chapman said...

Gosh ---a long time ago! When I started keeping a journal I realized that everything that I was experiencing was for MY learning..so I stopped judging and embraced it "all"! I also started saying, Oh what fun (no matter what was occurring in my life)...and since that time have lived in the state of...oh!

I have been asking myself this week's question all week and I always thought I was a dreamer now I'm not so sure.

I know you believe in keeping a personal dream journal. Is there any best way to organize?
